Red Barchetta Regenesis [2-3 at Montreal Nats]

Odonuvo 66

Big thanks to Amavric and Diogene for helping me out with the early versions of the deck. While I don't think this is a very consistent deck, it is INSANELY fun to play in person and just throw out bacterials and draw 7 or 14 cards straight to hand if the runner ran last click or stole it with a low card count in hand.

This deck only got two wins, but I managed to get a win in the first round off of Sadstug with Regenesis and sealess launching the game point.

Round 6 against Diogene was an absolute blast, where he face checked an Anansi on R&D with Finality after stealing a Bacterial (I drew 6 cards and left one on R&D, then used Anansi to put the one agenda to the 5th card). Epic finish.

I made wrong meta call. I never needed the Magnet and would have been better off with another spin doctor.

Like my criminal deck that I took to nats I spent all of my lost games mostly drawing cards for what I actually needed. Simulation Reset is great but it just feels bad when you don't have a combo going after a rashida, two spin doctors and a 3 card simulation reset.

I proudly lost to this. In a meta filled with Anarch, Magnet is a sensible meta call. Of course, you could also go (near) Iceless, but that is a different game.

Considering what you going for in this deck, maybe Gaslight would have given you better results? 2 in exchange for one Your Digital Life?

I like the inclusion of Swordsman, quite the card against those AI breakers. Cheers!

Swordsman was never relevant in my matches. The only AI I encountered was Aumakua which was dispatched with Mavirus.

Given what happened I think Gaslight would have been a bettter call. Gaslight into more draw power or an economy card as needed.
