Moon's Talent Pool 4th @ Let's watch the sunrise

This is the list @BinkBonkle (4th 🎉) and I played in the recent online Let's watch the sunrise event. The deck performed very well for both of us.

Moon's Talent Pool was heavily based on a fast advance (FA) Azmari list @aruzan played a lot last summer (never got posted). When I saw Nebula I immediately thought about how much it could bring to that archetype.

The game plan

2-4 ice on HQ and R&D and score 100% out of hand. Ice archives mid game vs Crim for Clean Getaway and Maintenance Access.

Prioritize scoring Superconducting Hub early as the +2 handsize is critical to protect agendas, accumulate combo pieces and cash out fat YDLs. Kingmaking is the ideal way to do this as you get your Superconducting Hub as a 4/3 👀

Install Spin Doctor, but DO NOT REZ until your next turn. Starting click one with 8 cards in hand is so much better then anything you could draw on the turn you install the Spinny D.

Do not install Moon Pool for the runner to trash, unless you have an extra and the runner is very poor.

The FA combos are pretty silly 😁:

When on flip side you can score:

3/1 or 3/2 with a Petty Cash in archives or Red Level Clearance in hand.

4/2 with a Moon Pool and 2 extra agendas.

5/3 with a RLC, a 🌕 Pool and two extra agendas ‼️

On the front side you can still easily FA agendas:

2/1s with no tricks.

3/2s with Moon. Or Sudden Commandment + RLC.

4/2s with RLC + Moon Pool.

This is largely what makes this version of Nebula so threatening, the flip side is a very powerful tool for FA, but not required. You can score 3 points unflipped with Kingmaking 😳

I highly recommend trying this deck. I think it's super fun and hopefully it won't be too oppressive as people start to know how it works.

How to beat the deck?

Always trash Spin Doctor and Moon Pool. Letting the corp hide agendas in archives with Spin for Moon Pool is too good. You don't have to flip the corp back every turn. It's easy to assume the corp is always going to score, but combo pieces are harder to collect than you might expect. Save your resources and try to time your runs with multi access (ideally HQ). Reprinting clot also wouldn't hurt.

Good cards for the matchup Maintenance Access, HQ pressure (sabotage), HQ multi access (The Twinning or Docklands Pass)
